‘Ashes to Ashes, Funk to Funky we know Major Tom's a junkie' (that's the Bowie character not the war veteran that did all that walking!). Well he may have been involved with various illicit substances but he can't stop the rain and once again we fail to win back The Ashes, the little urn. I'm sure Eric Morecambe would have something to say about that!
But here at Inter Recruitment there are no sour grapes (there are really!) but as with everything in life you have to pick yourself up and dust yourself down. We have had permanent placements fall through due to the candidate being counter offered and deciding to stay where they are and temporary contracts fall through as the client's additional business did not materialise, very disappointing when you have put a lot of hard work in but unfortunately that is life and we have to face and accept it.
